Stylai LLC (“Stylai,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides the Stylai mobile application (the “App”), an AI-powered fashion and outfit-styling service.

This Privacy Policy explains what information the App handles, how it is used and disclosed, how long it is retained, and the choices and rights available to you.

Stylai does not require you to create an account. The App does not contain advertising SDKs, use the Apple advertising identifier, or use your information for targeted advertising.

Closet photos, selfies, style preferences, saved outfits, and generated images are stored primarily in the App’s private storage on your device. Certain features transmit selected photos, styling information, and prompts to Stylai’s service providers—principally Vercel and OpenAI—to analyze images and generate outfit recommendations or images.

Do not submit a photo of another person unless you have their permission.

The App may handle:

• Photos of clothing, accessories, or other closet items that you take with the camera or select from your photo library.
• An optional selfie that you take or select for creation of a personalized style profile.
• AI-generated outfit images.
• Publicly hosted outfit-inspiration images returned through AI-assisted web search.

Stylai accesses only the photos you choose to capture or select. The App does not scan your entire photo library.

When you request outfit ideas, Stylai transmits the applicable closet-item photo to Stylai’s proxy service and OpenAI. When you add or analyze a selfie, the selfie is likewise transmitted for AI analysis.

The App handles information you provide or select, including:

• Dress-expression preference, such as masculine, neutral, or feminine.
• Creativity level and outfit-suggestion quality.
• Outfit purpose, such as formal, business, or casual.
• Optional free-form styling directions, such as preferred colors or items to avoid.
• Saved outfit selections and favorites.
• Dates associated with closet items and saved outfits.

Free-form text may contain personal information if you choose to include it. Please do not enter information that is unnecessary for styling.

If you use the selfie style-profile feature, OpenAI analyzes the selfie to produce a description of visible, fashion-relevant characteristics and complementary colors. The resulting profile may refer to characteristics such as hair color, visible eye color, face shape, glasses, visible undertones, proportions, or styling considerations.

The AI is instructed not to identify you, determine who you are, or infer sensitive characteristics that are not visibly relevant to fashion. Stylai does not use the selfie to perform identity verification or create a facial-recognition identity template.

The resulting description and color palette are saved locally and may be included in later outfit-recommendation requests.

Stylai uses Apple App Attest to help determine whether requests come from a legitimate installation of the App. This process handles:

• An App Attest cryptographic key identifier.
• Attestation and assertion data.
• One-time security challenges.
• Request hashes and related fraud-prevention information.

Our hosting and network providers may also automatically receive technical information such as your IP address, approximate city or country derived from IP address, request time, requested service route, request identifier, response status, performance information, and standard network or device metadata.

Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. Stylai does not receive your payment-card number or bank-account information.

The App uses Apple StoreKit to read whether an eligible Stylai subscription is active and to display the applicable subscription product. Apple’s processing is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.

The following information is stored in the App’s private local storage, device preferences, or Keychain:

• Closet photos and associated identifiers and dates.
• Selfie photo, derived style profile, and complementary color palette.
• Style preferences.
• Saved outfit descriptions, source names, image URLs, and favorites.
• AI-generated outfit images.
• Onboarding and terms-acceptance status.
• The lifetime number of free outfit requests used.
• App Attest registration state and key identifier.

Depending on your device and backup settings, Apple may include some App data in an encrypted device or iCloud backup.

We use information to:

• Save and display your closet.
• Analyze closet-item photos.
• Analyze an optional selfie and create a personalized style profile.
• Personalize recommendations using your selected preferences and style profile.
• Find outfit inspiration through AI-assisted web search.
• Generate outfit recommendations and replacement outfit images.
• Save and display favorite outfits.
• Load public outfit-inspiration images.
• Determine free-request eligibility and subscription access.
• Authenticate App requests and prevent abuse, fraud, and unauthorized API use.
• Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the reliability of the service.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

Stylai does not use photos, selfie-derived information, or other personal information for advertising or marketing profiling.

Stylai uses OpenAI’s API to provide image analysis, recommendation, web-search, and image-generation functionality.

Depending on the feature, information sent to OpenAI may include:

• A closet-item photo or selfie.
• Style preferences and an optional selfie-derived profile.
• Outfit purpose and free-form instructions.
• Outfit suggestion text and public outfit-image URLs.
• Prompts necessary to analyze or generate an image.

Under OpenAI’s standard API data controls, API content is not used to train OpenAI models by default unless the API customer affirmatively opts in. OpenAI may retain API content and related abuse-monitoring logs under its applicable data-retention controls. Under current default controls, some content and logs may be retained for approximately 30 days, and potentially longer when required by law or necessary to investigate or prevent harm.

AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. Do not rely on Stylai for medical, legal, safety-critical, or other professional decisions.

We may disclose information as follows.

Stylai routes its AI requests through infrastructure hosted by Vercel. Vercel processes request content and technical information to host, route, secure, and monitor the service. Runtime-log retention can vary based on the hosting configuration and plan. See Vercel’s Privacy Notice.

We disclose the photos, prompts, preferences, profile information, and related inputs needed to provide the requested AI features, as described above.

AI-assisted web search may return direct links to images hosted by publishers, retailers, photography sites, or other third parties. When the App loads one of these images, your device connects directly to that operator. The operator may receive your IP address, the requested image URL, request time, and standard network information under its own privacy practices.

Stylai does not send your closet photo, selfie, style profile, or free-form instructions to these image hosts.

Because the source domains are selected dynamically from web-search results, Stylai cannot provide a fixed list of every possible image host.

Apple processes App Store purchases, subscription management, device permissions, App Attest, and any device or iCloud backups you enable.

We may disclose information if reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, or governmental requests; protect users, Stylai, or others; investigate fraud or security incidents; enforce agreements; or complete a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets. Where required, we will provide notice or obtain consent.

We require service providers acting on our behalf to protect personal information consistently with applicable law and to use it only for the services they provide to us.

Stylai does not sell personal information.

Stylai does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, use third-party advertising SDKs, display targeted advertising, or combine App data with data from unrelated apps or websites to track you for advertising.

Stylai may use limited device and request information for fraud prevention and service security. Apple does not treat fraud-prevention sharing alone as advertising tracking.

Closet photos, selfie information, preferences, favorites, and generated content generally remain on your device until you delete or replace them or remove the App.

The “Remove selfie profile” control deletes the locally stored selfie and clears the locally stored derived profile and color palette.

Deleting a closet item removes its principal closet photo and associated saved metadata from the App. In the current version, previously generated outfit-image files associated with a deleted item may remain in the App’s private storage even though they are no longer displayed. They are removed when the App’s storage is removed, subject to device or iCloud backups.

The lifetime free-request counter is stored in the iOS Keychain and may remain on the device after the App is deleted and reinstalled.

Deleting the App generally removes its active local data container. Information may remain temporarily in Apple-managed backups according to your backup settings and Apple’s retention practices.

OpenAI may retain API content and logs under the retention periods described in Section 4.

Vercel and Stylai may retain security and operational logs for the period reasonably necessary to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service. Vercel’s standard runtime-log availability currently varies by plan and may range from approximately one hour to 30 days. Some records may be retained longer when required for security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or enforcement.

App Attest registration records may be retained while the corresponding installation key remains valid and for a reasonable period afterward for fraud-prevention and security purposes.

External image hosts determine their own retention practices.

You may:

• Decline camera or photo-library access.
• Change or revoke camera and photo-library permissions in iOS Settings.
• Delete individual closet items from the App.
• Remove your selfie, style profile, and color palette with the “Remove selfie profile” control.
• Change your style preferences.
• Remove saved outfit favorites.
• Delete the App to remove its active local data container, subject to Keychain data and backups.
• Manage or cancel a subscription using Apple’s subscription-management controls.
• Contact us to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or other rights available under applicable law.

Because Stylai does not provide user accounts, we may need information about your device installation or recent requests to locate a server-side record. We may be unable to associate a record with you when it has been de-identified or lacks sufficient identifying information.

Deleting App data does not automatically cancel an App Store subscription.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process personal information:

• With your consent, including when you choose a photo and request AI analysis.
• To perform the service you request and fulfill our agreement with you.
• For our legitimate interests in providing, securing, troubleshooting, and preventing abuse of the service, where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
• To comply with legal obligations or protect vital rights and safety.

You may withdraw consent at any time for future processing. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

• Know whether and how we process personal information.
• Access or obtain a copy of personal information.
• Correct inaccurate information.
• Delete personal information.
• Restrict or object to certain processing.
• Receive portable information you provided.
• Withdraw consent.
• Appeal a denial of a privacy request.
• Complain to a data-protection authority.
• Receive equal service and pricing without unlawful discrimination for exercising a privacy right.

We may verify a request and may deny or limit it where permitted by law. You may use an authorized agent where applicable.

To exercise a right, contact us using the information in Section 16.

During the preceding 12 months, Stylai may have collected the following categories of personal information:

• Identifiers, such as IP address and App Attest installation identifiers.
• Internet or electronic-network activity, such as request and performance logs.
• Approximate location derived from IP address.
• Photos and user-provided content.
• Inferences, consisting of the optional fashion-relevant style profile generated from a selfie.
• Commercial information limited to subscription status processed through Apple.

We collect this information directly from you, automatically from the App or device, and from service providers. We use and disclose it for the purposes and to the recipients described in this policy.

Stylai has not sold personal information or shared it for cross-context behavioral advertising and does not knowingly do so regarding people under 16.

Stylai and its service providers may process information in the United States and other countries whose privacy laws may differ from those where you live.

Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as contractual protections or other legally recognized transfer mechanisms.

Stylai uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. These include encrypted HTTPS connections, Apple App Attest, private iOS app storage, and restricted service access.

No storage or transmission system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee that information will never be lost, accessed, or disclosed improperly.

Stylai is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum age at which a person may independently consent to the processing at issue in their jurisdiction.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided information without required parental consent, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the App, our practices, vendors, or legal requirements. We will change the effective date and provide additional notice where required.
